Originally founded in 2001 by the wife of a Joliet policeman, since 2003 the Bolton’s have grown the operation to service clients throughout the region with expanded services. Louvers Lane is the local business, host of an international network of professional blind and drapery cleaners who visit us periodically for specialized training and support. Hunter Douglas, Springs Window Fashions and other major brands consult on cleaning with Bert through the network on the care and cleaning of their products or in support of finding cleaners for consumers. Our cleaning technicians are actually Certified cleaners, we invest in their training and multiple professional courses to sharpen their skills.
Bert wears multiple hats. He enjoys educating others in the industry and holds multiple certifications related to services offered. (Hunter Douglas Professional Installer, Certified Fabricare Specialist (19 years+), IICRC Certified Journeyman Upholstery/Fabric and others) He also writes and develops materials for the industry to help others in the trade as well as consumers to make informed choices in the care and maintenance of their custom window treatments.
Gerlinde is our wonderful office manager who handles scheduling, support and many of the details that keep us organized.
Isabel is the point person for many of our medical clients.
Chano handles whatever the day brings, whether cleaning, repairs or installations.
Nathan does cleaning, repairs and installations.
Mick works part time applying his meticulous attention to detail to client’s blinds and shades.
